Rose Streif lives near downtown Indianapolis in a ninety-year-old house surrounded by cats, books, a bearded guy, and vintage motorcycles. Her writing is informed by the Midwestern Gothic aesthetic along with an interest in history, folklore, mythology, art, and literature. She has been known to read textbooks for fun, and gets most of her story ideas from reading non-fiction. While her use of profanity in everyday conversation is notable, her writing style has been called poetic.

Chris Canary was born in Fort Sill, Oklahoma, and has lived most of his life in Indiana. He has been an avid reader and actor since the age of ten. It was around this time that he started writing. He wrote one short original story, "The Hand of Victory", which was published in the anthology "Unreal City", as well as the short story "Reflections and Repercussions" for the Quantum Leap Podcast. "The Albatross" is Chris' first story for Wamingo Publishing, with several more tales in the works.

Jennifer Baxter is an artist who lives in Indianapolis, IN. Known locally for her skills as a body painter, She also enjoys sketching from life, dabbling in watercolors, and henna art. Wamingo Publishing managed to cajole her into illustrating several short stories in their upcoming anthology "Whispers of a Time Forgotten". Her work has been published in Brushstrokes Magazine and she received the Dave Hambrock Dependably Detailed Award. Jennifer lives with her boyfriend, two children, and a very demanding cat.

Cassie Smith was born in Roanoke, Virginia, but has lived in Indiana most of her life. A veracious reader since the age of three, Cassie's favorite genres of writing are horror and science-fiction. She wrote her first story in elementary school called "The Doll Who Took A Trip". She is seldom seen without a book in hand. When not reading or writing, she loves spending time at home with her husband of over twenty years, her two cats, and her son.

Chris Nicholson is the tech guy for Wamingo Publishing. He has worked with computers for over 20 years. He lives in Indianapolis and is the cousin to Jeremy Lee Riley (much to both their chagrin). He is an avid geek who enjoys working out and practicing Krav Maga in his spare time. He is also an artist in his own right with a love for role playing. He goes to GenCon yearly. If you see him around say "hi" but we warn you, he will talk your ear off.
